The Yash starrer Kannada film KGF, directed by Prashanth Neel ripped off all the records in Sandalwood by collecting whopping figures of Rs 75 crores on box office. KGF, released across 2400 screens on Dec 21, 2018, saw an upward trend day-by-day. The movie grossed around Rs 24.50 crores on the first day beating that of SRK starrer Zero, which made just Rs 21 crores.

The Kannada movie KGF earned a whopping amount of Rs 24.50 crores and Rs 19 crores on the first two days, across world-wide. The movie garnered a huge response in the USA, which in fact raised a hefty $200K on day 2. The movie made Rs 17.50 crores on Day 3, and Rs 15 crores on Day 4. This accumulates to make a total of Rs 75 crores in just four days of release. The film geeks have started calling Yash as "The Box-office Badshah".
