KGF made Rs 19 crores on Day 2, and Rs 18 crores on Day 3 crossing the fifty-crore mark in just three days of release. The Yash starrer and Prashanth Neel direction garnered plenty of attention and it didn't take a much for it become a household talk.

Rs 100 crores on the
first week of release, this, in fact, is first ever for a
Kannada cinema. Kartik Gowda, a representative of Hombale films, stated that "The cinema had broken the lifetime collections of
Raajakumara on just five days of its release. The stupendous hit will set new trends and establish a wider market for Kannada cinemas." Both the
Appu starrer Raajakumara and
Yash's KGF were made under the same banner.
The
Hombale films, who started off with "Ninindale" stunned the world with KGF and Raajakumar like stupendous hits.
